My Uncle Les was a wonderful man who was loved by all who were fortunate to have known him. Along with Aunty Dot they regularly opened their home to me during my University days in Melbourne and I visited often. His sincere interest in people and their activities was encouraging and inspiring and we would have wonderful conversations on numerous topics. A life well lived and we thank God for giving us the time we had with this amazing man. Tim and Beki Shaw

You will be sadly missed by your extended Parker family Les. You were the patriarch of knowledge when it came to our families history. I admired you for your close connection to your roots and for your generousity in sharing your family history knowledge with all your extended cousins. I only met Les once at Carindale, Brisbane, Queensland on one of his last trips there. He eminated love, and extended his hand of friendship to me (an outsider at the time as I had only just found my adoptive Mother). I have admired him ever since.
Much love to your immediately family during this trying time.
Forever in our hearts.

I will always remember Poppy's special role in my life, especially when he officiated my wedding to Jade. His presence added a sacred and loving touch to our special day, and we are forever grateful for his blessings and guidance.

As a child, I have fond memories of sleeping over at Poppy's house and playing hide and seek. Those moments were filled with joy and laughter, creating lasting memories that I hold dear to my heart. Daisy, Alfie, and Charlie also remember the warmth of Poppy's smile and the sound of his laughter when they visited him. His ability to make everyone feel loved and welcomed is a testament to his kind and generous spirit.

Poppy was truly a family man and a godly man. His faith and devotion were evident in every aspect of his life. He touched the lives of many, always offering a helping hand, a comforting word, and a heart full of love. His legacy of compassion, faith, and kindness will continue to inspire us all.

Though we will miss Poppy dearly, we take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace, reunited with Nan and Uncle Phil in heaven. We will carry his memory in our hearts and honor his legacy by living our lives with the same love and faith that he exemplified.

Rest in heaven, Poppy. You will always be remembered fondly and cherished in our hearts forever.

Thank you for being a fun and loving Poppy and Great Poppy to us all.
I will treasure the memories I have with you, from sleepovers when I was little to some gentle guidance over coffee as an adult.
Mike remembers you for your positive attitude, even during the past couple of years. He found that admirable.
Liam remembers your humour. He would like to tell you that you were very funny and "you're welcome".
Tim said he loved you very much and will miss you.
Your laugh, funny sayings and memories of time spent together will live on in our hearts and minds.
May you rest in peace now with your Lord, Nanny and Uncle Phillip.
Love Michael, Amy, Tim & Liam

Les Parker was my very first Pastor of the church I grew up in. He was a great teacher of Gods Word and laid the foundations in the early days of Dandenong AOG which was a key factor to where the church is now, impacting many lives including mine. He was a man of Genuine and Authentic Character with plenty of energy and passion who also enjoyed a good laugh. Ps Les served both the church and his family, leaving his mark in this world and will never be forgotten. We will all miss him but he is now being rewarded in Heaven with his wife and son.

Les Parker was my father in law for 46 years and always treated me as his second son. He was down to earth, easy to relate to, a great spiritual mentor and had a great sense of humour! Will be missed but never forgotten

I have known Les Parker for over 30 years. He was a client of mine as well as spiritual guide. He was also pastor to my father for many years. I visited Les regularly at his home where we would share the things of God. He was the forerunner to Faith Christian Church. A man of God who will be fondly remembered by many. He is now with his Lord.
Blessings

Sending all my condolences to the Parker family. I met Leslie a few times and found him to be a caring, friendly and respectful man.
I pray for his children that they may follow in his footsteps and show resilience, love and care in their future endeavors as I am sure he will be there to guide them.
