Dear Om Mau, Aunt is defined in the dictionary as a ‘second-degree relative.’ But nothing about you could be measured in degrees, least of all secondary. You were the first Aunt we knew; the first one we loved. Sometimes the first to patch a scraped knee or wipe away a tear; always with a wisecrack and a delicious meal. You lived your life with the dial turned to maximum: you were not just brave, you were fierce; not just funny, but hilarious; not just sympathetic but full of compassion. You had an easy and admirable generosity. You opened your heart and your home to everyone you loved and everyone they loved. Each new member of our circle became encircled in yours. You welcomed everyone with a little curiosity, a big grin, and of course, a delicious meal. You grabbed life with both hands, gave it a good-hearted shake and added the best seasoning. Thank you for always bringing the fun - and the food. We will miss your infectious laugh and luminous smile, of which a thousand dazzling suns could never compare. In English, ‘ie’ is added to Aunt to signify ‘dear one’. In Sanskrit: the ancient language of our people, Om is defined as the sacred vibration of the universe. As you return to the universe, you are always our Om; always our Auntie. Rest in peace, our dear, sacred one. The stars are brighter now that you are amongst them. Love always, Troy, Siri, Jett, Kobe and Elodie

Condolences to the family, We will miss Bora's big smile everytime we step throught your door. My heartaches to think of not seeing her to greet me when I visit but know that she will be looking over all of us from above. ❤️ Khon and family

Broa wasn’t just my best friend’s mum, she treated me like one of her own, and I was lucky enough to see her as a second mum. Her kindness, warmth, and love left a lasting mark on my life. I’ll always be grateful for the care she showed me and the memories we shared. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Your physical presence will be missed here on earth, however your spirit lives on , watching over the ones who had the opportunity to know and love you . We were connected by love with our Daughter Amanda and your Son Paul-and a wonderful grandson Vanseth . We were so happy Vanseeh could spend last spring and summer in Melbourne learning some Cambodian traditions and spending special time with his grandparents!❤️😘 We so enjoyed your presence, Cambodian traditions , recipes shared and spending time with you here in Canada. Always smiling, always happy and ready to talk about the ones you loved. Would have loved to have had one last hug❤️ Until we meet again, you will never be forgotten . Goodbye for now, Sheryle and Rick
