Dear Shavana and Family, We are deeply saddened to learn about the passing of Tony. I’m sorry that we didn’t ever meet in my adult years, but I’m glad that I did at least have a chance to chat with Tony over the last year or so since my visit to Guyana back in January. It’s clear to me that Tony will have left more than just memories as his enduring legacy living through his art, some of which I was lucky enough to see in Guyana earlier this year. His work speaks volumes, telling stories which need to be told. His ability to capture detail, character, and emotion in his art was nothing short of extraordinary. Tony may no longer be with us, but his artistic spirit will live on eternally through the wonderful pieces he’s left behind. With deepest sympathy, Heather, Christian & Jonathan
