TO MEMORY TIMELINE
Dear Uncle, It is with great sadness that we learned of your passing. Knowing that we will no longer have the chance to share moments together is deeply painful, but there is also comfort in knowing that you are now at peace and no longer suffering. You have always been an inspiration to us — a steady pillar of support, and someone who encouraged us to pursue what we believed in and stand by our choices. We wanted to share a small moment of joy — a photo Karyn found from our wedding day, when you travelled all the way with the family to be there and celebrate with us. It’s a memory we hold very dearly. To Kimkim, Clem, Josh, and Raph — we feel grateful to have shared many wonderful moments with Henry and all of you. During this difficult time, please remember that even though we may be apart, you are never alone, and distance does not diminish how close we feel to you. With love, Wenjie & Karyn

Henry was a kind and thoughtful person, always ready to help. I enjoyed listening to him playing the guitar and singing Petshop Boys songs. And his jokes! It was an honour and privilege for me to have known him. Henry, have fun in your new place. You will be missed. Till we meet again.

Our deep condolences to June and family for your loss. We will see dear Henry again on the distant shores in God’s good time. To God be the Glory.
Dear June, My deepest condolences to you and your family on your loss. May you and your family find strength during this very difficult time, and may Henry rest in peace.
I met Henry when he joined our Corporate Banking Department in DBS in the early ‘80s. His infectious jovial and can-do spirit never failed to lift the mood among us. He was very generous and helpful too. So much so that he volunteered to be the driver for the bridal car for my wedding, and proceeded to take care of collecting the car, getting it decorated and returning it later (it was a borrowed car). Sadly, we lost touch after he moved to Melbourne. Well Henry, you have gone ahead of us to the Father’s House, please intercede for the rest of us from there, and remember to also “chope” our rooms for us besides doing so for your family. Mag and I are offering Mass intention for your soul for this Friday’s evening Mass and will keep you and your family in our prayers.
My deepest condolences to the family of the late Henry Chia. May the Lord Jesus Christ grant comfort to you in times of sorrow and grief at the loss of Henry. “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
June, Clem, Josh and Ralph, Our deepest condolences for your loss. We pray and trust that your pain of loss will, in time, be filled with cherished memories of the countless moments that were spent with Henry. Dearest June, Clemente, Josh and Raph, our deepest sympathy to your beautiful family. We were so sad to have missed the funeral mass as we were away in Portarlington. We attended mass just before your funeral mass which father offered for the repose of Henry's soul. We came home just in time to watch the funeral mass online. It was truly solemn and beautiful and there wasn't a dry eye. Even the Cheong children, 7 of them with us were very emotional...we were truly there with all of you in spirit. We all treasure the memory of your love and friendship and beaming smile. We were blessed to have you in our lives. May you enjoy and rest in peace in the loving arms of our heavenly Father and our blessed Mother. Also you get to see St Jacob before us who found your kidney donor for you. All our love and prayers Adrian, Penny, Hayley, Joseph, John Paul, Benedict, Kate, Charlotte and Alexander
My deepest condolences on your loss. We hold firm to the promise of Christ, that just as Lazarus was raised, so too will all who believe in Him rise to new life. May this truth bring you solace. Praying for your loved one, and for you and your family. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen. May God's grace bring you strength and comfort in this time of sorrow.

We appreciate you attending our mass every time you visit S’pore. Though we can’t be in Melbourne to bid goodbye, we will dedicate a hymn to you this Sunday nonetheless. Rest easy now & God is with you..Amen Read full message here.
All our love and prayers Adrian, Penny, Hayley, Joseph, John Paul, Benedict, Kate, Charlotte and Alexander Read full message here.
With love, Wenjie & Karyn Wenjie View full message

Dearest Aunty Jun Your family is very special to us. It was wonderful to see Uncle Henry surrender to God's will from the very beginning. No doubt that God's plans are different from ours but with acceptance we will always be left with peace and even joy in most difficult of times. Aunty Jun, you have been truly incredible in the way you have gone through the past few years with such faith, serenity, hope, patience, courage and most of all trust in the Lord. You are such a wonderful example to so many people. Clem, Josh and Raph, we have no doubt that your Dad is even closer to each of you now that he is gazing at the face of Jesus. He must be so happy and filled with so much joy! With our faith, we know it is not a goodbye, and we will all be reunited one day again in paradise!
