The sadness of the last few years cannot ignore the lovely times we have shared. The wonderful Essendon footy lunches , at which you were not just the token Tiger but a great friend to all. Leon shared your football faith and enjoyed many joyous times with you and really appreciated your consolation and optimism when things were hard. We loved your interest in our children who all remembered you with much love. I remember our wonderful trip, just the two of us to Hong Kong, a favourite place of mine and managed our different interests with me for the shops and you for the pool. I will remember you fondly Lyn , as a great friend , gone but not forgotten. Kerry

What twists & turns life journey is since l met Lyn on King Island in 1980.’s. No doubt what drew me to Lyn was her humble work ethic, sense of humility & passion for those interests in her life that being her beloved Tigers . Unfortunately for Lyn l did not have the etiquette for the Arts & Ballet! Our times with her family at Boomanoomera State forest up on the Murray River were special on our holidays . The fantastic comeraderie we experienced at the Club with our fellow Tigers was paramount to our life experience & enjoyment over nearly 20 years together .She was instrumental in our shared passion & eagerness for success with our time at Tigerland. Lyn formed Hafey’s Heroes to bring like minded women into the sharing her meaningful involvement & passion as a Tiger which was wonderful & is enduring today. Our times with family at Lake Eildon was very special & we formed life long friendships during that time in our lives together. We had so much fun , music , dancing & drinking too much that is took us 24 hrs to recover to go again ! Whilst our relationship broke down l can say to her the she was LOVED by me & l know she will be dearly missed by all who knew her special qualities. Condolences to the family & friends who have had to say goodbye. A bit difficult to write this testimony to Lyn given that we have not communicated for many years .. no doubt l would prefer to have expressed my thoughts face to face.. alas too late so maybe in another life. RIP Lyn. ❤️

RIP Lyn, you were truly fabulous. I always looked forward to you coming to the office, with your fabulous animal print jacket and hats and red lipstick. You just brought such a sparkle wherever you went and always had a story I hadn't heard. I'm sure you are leading the party wherever you are. The world is a little duller without you here.
