Dad, I saw a quote recently that said “ when we lose someone we love we must learn not to live without them but to live with the love they left behind” this is what I’ve been trying to focus on this last year without you, all the love & happy memories you have left in our hearts when we think of you. And not a day goes by when I don’t think of you. I would love to pick the phone up and hear your voice say “now mate”. We all miss you Dad there will always be a big hole at family gatherings without you but I take comfort knowing I was so very lucky to have you as my Dad xxxxxx
