Sow Ying Cheong

In loving memory of our beloved Po Po, Madam Cheong, who lived a remarkable 98 years. Po Po lived through nearly a century of change - from the trials of war to the evolution of modern life. She wasn’t just a witness to history; she shaped it in her own way, even founding a society for Asian ethnicities in Australia to build a community for others. Though small in stature, she was feisty, witty, and full of life. She loved Mahjong, Tai Chi, Karaoke, Chinese Opera, dramas and durian - simple joys that brought her great happiness. We are grateful for the time we had with her, for the love she gave, and for the strength she showed. Rest in peace, Po Po. Your legacy lives on in all of us and you will always be in our hearts. If you see the Queen, do say hi as we’re sure you’ll both have lots to share.

I am so, so sorry to hear of Geoff's passing, it hit me hard, so cannot imagine how heartbroken the family is. Geoff was like a friend, I had so many chats with him. My biggest regret is not sharing a coffee. May Geoff find a vessel to sail on and be on the gangplank when his loved ones meet up once more. Biggest hugs to the family xxxx
