I met Craig when our kids were all growing up. He was a generous person who always have so much to give to those around him. You couldn't help but be affected by his kindness, humour and friendship.
We will all miss him and our thoughts are with Racheal, Sam and Kate.

Craig Benson
You were a huge part of our lives.
Ella will away remember you as Akela as I will.
You were always there to help .
no matter what needed doing.
You just show up and get stuck in.
Our kids grew up together, and we shared so many great times over the years. Camps, events, barbecues — you there always there.
You helped raise a whole bunch of kids just by being around, showing them how to be kind, fair, and strong.

We’ll miss you more than words can say
Steffen, Kai,Ella and Kate

I knew Craig as my manager for athletics. He was the best, we’d all beg for him to take our age group. He was everyone’s dad and friends, he knew how to make us all laugh and looked out for us. When I left athletics to work, he’d come every other Saturday and say hi. I will cherish all the memories I had with him, he will be deeply missed

Words can not explain what a true gentleman Craig is.
Always there with the family activities, supporting what ever the next chapter had to bring, accepting all kids into his house, more the merrier.

My heart goes out to Rachel, Sam and Kate. To have Craig as your husband and father, was a true blessing. And to all of Craig's family who will have lots of happy memories to share.

I am at a loss of words and truely devastated with Craig's passing.
I will miss his passion and our in depth chats about the Saints.
My thought and prayers are with Rachael, Sam and Kate.
Craig was a husband, father and an all round good bloke, that has been taken to early.
RIP, great man.

My thoughts and love go to Rachel, her beautiful children and all of Craig’s family and friends.

I knew Craig as a kind, gentle and generous man, who always had a smile on his face and knew how to put a smile on other’s.

Craig has definitely left this world too soon, and I know he will be desperately missed by so many.
