Gerard, or ‘big swifty’ as we called him, was a true gentleman with a fantastic personality. We had fun and shared countless laughs together with big swifty always having a smile on his face. A quick wit and a sharp tongue, he never stopped poking fun and joking around. A beautiful man with a truly positive aura. Never shy to try and lift ‘the big weights’ with us all while telling stories from the past, talking footy and being the life of the gym. We are proud to have called him a true friend, our thoughts are with him and we miss him dearly. Our love and condolences to all of Gerard’s family and those close to him

Gerard I am saddened to hear you pass away so soon in life if I could choose a brother to walk beside you my friend would definitely be the one, I still talk about the great times we had growing up in West Heidelberg and the great times we had in the city, you my friend will be sadly missed .
