Jill and I became kindred spirits in 1972 during our East Africa 6 week camping adventure with Kon Tiki Tours. I shared the 'girl's' tent with her, sleeping side by side most nights, sharing a great deal about ourselves and contemplating choices we would need to make regarding our futures on our return home. At the time, when I was in need of empathy and kindness, Jill surrounded me with both. Not all was serious talk though, as Jill was such fun to be with. Specific memories of you, Jill , and remembrances of the lovely person you were, I will treasure and cherish, always.

I loved your company. Thank you and Ian for showing me those three little Tawny Frogmouth babies. It was an enduring image that I will always associate with you xoxo

Aunty Jill, a wonderful person who we always looked forward to spending time with. You left me with many great memories both as a child and as an adult. I could always rely on you for a card on my birthdays no matter how long since I had seen you. I am consoled in the knowledge that you lived a full, happy and meaningful life. You will be missed greatly by our family. Although we can't be there, we are thinking of Boof and the whole family at the moment.

All our love
Craig, Nat, Rhys, Asher and Ben

Aunty Jill, you will be missed by the Hurst family. I remember many Christmases when Boof and you would visit on your annual fly-fishing trip to the lakes. we were always pleased to see you, particularly at the end of the trip when you would return with lovely trout to share.
Unfortunately, we are unable to make the trip to your funeral but I hope it is a lovely celebration of a life well lived.
Love from the Hobart Hursts.

Treasured memories of a long friendship from our university days (French classes and flatting together) to special catch-ups over lunch in Melbourne. Our beautiful bridesmaid and very dear friend will be so missed. Au revoir, mon amie!

My earliest memories of Jill are playing with her in her wonderful brick playhouse. We thought it was such fun. Goodbye to a dear cousin!
