I was lucky to know Slava as a client over about 10 years.

He brought integrity and warmth and real care to his work.

We are a more established business now, but we had a pretty wild ride in the early days.

When we needed Slava, he was always there, instantly, ready to help, with warmth and calm and smarts. He had gentle humour, which he used to challenge us, or try to teach us much needed lessons, while staying encouraging and optimistic.

His memory will stay with us for a very long time, I wish you all the very best.

Slava was our accountant from the very start of my businesses - two companies, a partnership and my own sole trader. He's been our guardian for nearly 15 years. I remember our first or second meeting where he patiently walked us through the mysteries of setting up a business, and was very sweet when we produced an envelope of receipts for him, thinking we'd done some great accounts keeping!

He was always so kind, patient and absolutely so good at his work! We've always felt absolutely trust and confidence working with him. He was always so sweet to be engaged in what our various bands were doing - my main one being Big Scary.

I'm in total shock at his passing, I hope he knew how much we valued him. I'm so sorry for your family.

Though I spent time with Slava as a client, I really want to let his family know that he was such a joy to be with. He had a passion for what he did and was always patient and kind to me, even though I’m sure I was one of the smallest accounts he would have dealt with. We both went to Uni High (in the same year), but didn’t make the connection until I noticed his photo on the wall at a reunion. I remember that in the school year book, his ambition was to be rich. There are lots of kinds of richness in the world, and money is only one of them. I see he was rich with family and I know he was rich with spirit and kindness. Though our paths didn’t cross at school, I feel richer for having known him.

Slava was my goto accountant for nearly 16 years.
He was my trusted council in all of me and my artists tax affairs.
He will be sadly missed. My love and thoughts are with his wife and children as well as his extended network of family and friends.

I am the Marketing Manager at Banks Group and while I only knew Slava for six short months, I wanted to say that I was deeply saddened to hear of his loss. Upon joining the firm, straight away I could see he was a beloved leader. His loss has hit the team hard and his absence will be felt by all. He was so respected and loved. It was a privilege to help him in a small way with his sponsorship, via BG, of the Eastern Lions Soccer Club -- something I know he was proud to do for his sons. I did not know Slava but know his sister Vera who I have worked with for many years. My deepest condolences to his entire family and Banks Group during this time, Slava has been instrumental to me in my business life, always questioning me (mainly for my processes), motivating me and a great sense of humour and calmness. He was meticulous with his advice and helped alot of family/friends and business partners. I started with him via a referral as I needed my tax fixed in 2006 and haven't looked back. He used to talk to me about a lot of clients and the pride he had in them, almost like a footy coach.

I am very sorry to hear this at such a young age and such a fantastic person.
